Which top/mid ranged champs can carry?

Hey so... I'm wanting to find new mains. I prefer top/mid and typically like champions that have some range, melee/tanks just aren't my thing. However... I'm honestly not sure who is good and who can carry a team.

Would it be a good idea to learn champs that can both top and mid or should I try to learn separate laners....?

Some ideas for champs I've tried and liked are: Irelia, kennen, akali, jayce, teemo, heimer, azir, ahri, and annie, but I'm not sure if they're good or can carry a game.

Quinn,Kennen, Jayce are really good champs that can carry and have lots of range on abilities and autos.

Ahri is out of question , she isn't a champion to carry Azir has really a bad early but , he is a hyper carry later " had my times where I literally went 1v5 and killed everyone while I'm still learning him" but his early is bad Annie is fine but when it comes to range , her range isn't that big Akali is a good option f open Heimer is a good option
