What's with this matchmaking?

So i know there have been probably alot of threads about this, but seriously what the hell is wrong with this matchmaking? There i was climbing normally even got on a bit of a win streak my MMR was higher for than my rank i was gold 4 and my mmr was gold 3-gold 2 and i get into promotions for gold 3 and all of a sudden things started going downhill. I feel like some shitty system detected that i was doing well and that i was climbing fast so it decided i can't climb any longer and paired me up with the worst gold players humanity has ever seen. People that don't talk, people that afk out, people that won't use common sense i even got paired up with a silver 5 MMR master yi jungle even tho my MMR was for gold 3? Seriously how does this shit even work? And there i was from promotions to gold 3 back into gold 5 thanks to this glorious matchmaking riot has set up for us. This ranked system doesn't even work at all, perhaps you should focus on that stuff instead of reworking champions like Swain that lower your fps when you get near him with his stacks, i guess people use that PBE for shiny skins and shit like that.
