Need help on Xayah?

Xãyah··1 votes·553 views

This discussion is for people to ask me questions on Xayah from lore, ability path, what to build on her to her counters and who she counters. I'm a mastery 7 Xayah. I feel like I'm pretty good at her but I still have some learning to do. Finally, don't gloat and everyone is entitled to their own opinion so if you don't like my opinion on say, what abilities to get first and order, don't get mad at me for it. I'm just here to help people.

How did you become so pro at her!!!? You climbed really high with your skills on her.

Everyone has their champion that they're good at. Before Xayah came out I played Caitlyn (I have mastery 6 on her) and Jinx (I have mastery 7 on her). I was bad at last hitting minions with Caitlyn. Worse than I should've been. After Xayah came out, people were saying that Rakan was stronger than her and she was bad but determination can get you a long ways. In short, Xayah was the adc that fits my play style and I love her kit. Just practice with the champ and try your best. If you want specific information like what I built and/or my ability path, just ask.

Who said this? Really?

I'd say Rakan has the better kit from first glance, but all of his useful parts are gated by little (oh but you have to do THIS to utilize it properly!) notes at the bottom.

If his passive proc'd when he autod minions, or even just regular jungle monsters, it'd be on-par with regular passives.

If his Q applied the heal to him immediately, and then to an ally when in range if in the timeframe, it'd be a more reliable self-sustain to bring it in line with other supports.

If his Q procced on hitting regular minions, or even just regular jungle monsters, it'd be a more reliably trigger-able heal rather than just situational.

If his any of his abilities at all scaled with HP, or he had higher bases, he'd be in line with regular engagers.

If his E gave himself a shield, he'd be more efficient at protecting his allies because he'd also be able to tank some hits for them.

He's sub-par at a lot of things, which he can do, but not particularly better than a different support. I like him, I enjoy playing him, but he's weak until they change one of the (oh but you have to do THIS to utilize it properly!) parts of his kit, he's kinda lackluster.

I understand what you mean with how if his abilities did x rather than what they do, he'd be better. I did get a penta kill as Xayah and during that time, I was saved multiple times by my Rakan support. I'd say it wouldn't have happened if he wasn't Rakan. Yes some people did say that Rakan was better than Xayah because she was nerfed in the PBE before she was officially released. Her feathers were nerfed so that they only stay for 6 seconds instead of 8. Rakans ap scaling is decent as well from what I've seen. I also have a couple of close friends who thought that Rakan was better than Xayah. Now one of them claims that Xayah is op and needs to be nerfed when she is in a good position.

lol, They fit their lore themes quite aptly. Rakan is more blatantly strong, whilst Xayah is a more subdued strength haha The Distraction from the true damage threat. Haha, have you tried her mid? She's quite fun there, got lvl 7 playing her mid (only plyaed her bot like 4 times) She actually does quite well into Kassadin (was abit surprised at that).

I haven't tried her mid or anywhere besides bot because I usually play with a group and we have a top and mid. I actually have her at mastery 6 but I have all the tokens. I just don't have the blue essence to upgrade into mastery 7 as of now. I also rarely play mid. Maybe I'll give it a shot soon.
