So about Nautilus lane

I don't mean naut support, I'm talking nautilus mid or top, I've played him in both lanes a few times and I can safely say that he is stronk in both lanes. I say this because ever since the cooldown on riptide was buffed, combined with his base damage on E if you max it first on top of his ability to trade, he gets kinda ridiculous if you don't kill him early on/ no decent advantage/ your not playing someone who doesn't rely on burst for trades. So far every time I've played him in lane, unless I was up against something that would obviously have an easy time with naut or I was up against swain in the mid lane, the first 3 levels were basically

I was up against an ekko in lane too. Felt so good to make him my bitch.

Lvl1 -Walk up to minion wave CS for a few seconds -If melee walk up to him when he goes to cs -press E and root -Walk away Lvl2 -Get Q -If ranged walk around minion wave -Q -Hit Q because massive hitbox -E and root -Trade. Lvl3 -Force other guy out of lane or first blood

This mainly happened if they didn't have much in the way of sustaining, was a character that relied on burst for trades, and other traits that you would imagine making naut a problem for them. He's got a shield thats actually pretty strong, especially when he gets a catalyst, and his damage is deceptively powerful, the ekko i played against was half health after I q'd-E+W+Passive AA and then a couple smacks of Titans wrath at level 3, it's more or less the same thing against next to everyone, minus swain. It's a difference If they're able to afford going for some early MR or proceed to get bullied out of lane or are naturally tanky. Or if they're swain. Because swain. **** that bird.
