Solo Q Ranked ladder

Before I get started yes Huni has shown himself to be the better toplaner. If i was arguing against that I would post this in esports.

Dyrus is 113-49 in the Korean Solo q ladder that is a win percentage of 69.8 over the course of 162 games. Huni is 94-46 that is a win percentage of 67.1 over 140 games. Dyrus Has played more games with a higher win % and has 417 less lp. I just don't get it. Can someone explain to me how that would happen. All I can think of is Huni was far more often than not the lowest mmr in his games and Dyrus was the highest in his games but that is still a pretty gigantic discrepancy. So I was just wondering if someone could explain the mechanics of the lp system a little bit clearer to me.

Edit: the boot camp pros were the best to use for this because weren't they all supposed to start in Plat 1.

Odoamne is 68-30 that is is a 69.4% win percentage and he also has more lp than Dyrus what I don't get the system.

Hjarnan 68-38 which is 64.2% has 41 more lp than Doublelift 73-40 which is 64.6% and he still has 8 more lp than Dyrus.
