% health damage on turrets

So i'm sure this has been suggested before, but I know a lot of people are still annoyed with tanks being able to dive and not taking as much damage as they should, and due to the turret buffs a lot of people are also annoyed with not being able to play diver champs, So I had a solution in mind (As far as I'm aware turrets don't already do this) Why not change the turret damage to %max health or %current health? That way divers can still dive without just popping like a baloon and tanks won't be able to dive for as long, Maybe even make it true damage, assuming that's not too far It's just an idea I had that I think might be able to work What does everyone else think?

they tried that with the lazer towers awhile ago in season 5 i think ? it was a terrible thing. tanks are supposed to dive towers and take zero damage , the problem is thanks arent supposed to melt people like they currently do , they are supposed to soak dmg and deal very little , not soak dmg and do a but ton. the issue isnt towers its tanks dmg atm.

Generally, tanks should fare well against turrets, being one of the few AIs in the game that tanks can force to focus themselves. Tanking turret shots where necessary is a part of a tanks job.

To convert the damage in %health damage, especially true damage, would only make diving easier for other classes, because they wouldn’t blow up as easily as they do now. Turret diving should always be a risk to a damage dealer if they don’t have a tank to soak shots for them. To shift the damage like so would likely encourage more tower dives, because champs won’t just take as large chunks of damage since it’s a percentage of their health.

Also, to be a diver...doesn’t necessarily mean tower diving. It’s primarily diving into the enemy team to bring down a carry, with some durability and utility to survive. Could be under tower or not, but under tower should always be a risk without a tank.

A tank is SUPPOSED to do that.

If Rammus dives under a tower he takes like ZERO damage. He's supposed to take ZERO damage.
