Elise
Currently, Elise is not the best champion in the world. Even Riot admitted by saying: > A champion that toes the line of viability, it's been a long time since we've seen Elise terrorizing the top tables. While the usability fix to Rappel shouldn't be understated (that move is really difficult to use), our changes are to increase power in ways that you can feel. A slight nerf to Elise's speed allows us to make her transformation even more deadly, and her cocoon follow-up a little easier to land
Although this is just a suggestion, I thought that they should make Elise's Volatile Spiderling (W) deal DoT for 4 seconds. This might seem really random, but
and
is like THE ITEM for Elise, just like
+ DFG.
It's perhaps the only items that gives Elise the stats she needs to go melee spider and ranged human form. Keeping this in mind, to make Elise's (W) a synergy with such item, this can indirectly buff Elise and help her out a lot, especially since those items are costly. Also, wouldn't it be extremely nice if Volatile Spiderling's cooldown is decreased to 8? She is a mage after all, and her poking abilities are rather risky since her Q range is short, even in human form. Plus, Elise's (W) is a pretty hard skill to harass with, since minions are blocking the way, so why not? :P Or, just make Volatile Spiderling's vision range increase, so that it can target champions more easily and offer more utility.
Talking about spiderlings, I also thought that per spiderling's attack, the MR of the target should decrease by 2 (stacking up to 15.). Elise's spider form gameplay is extremely risky and not the most rewarding like Jayce or Nidalee's melee form. To reward Elise players that stick to melee form long enough near enemies to lower their health and MR, this would make her Venomous Bite (Q) more effective at finishing off targets.
