Instead of nerfing everything, let's try this... (dark harvest discussion)

So the new dark harvest rune has been making alot of buzz as of recent for being very strong in the preseason. I've played games in every role with this rune just to test things out and it has opened my eyes to something I think would fix the state of league and bring back the potential of solo carrying games.

First, I think dark harvest does need to be tuned down a little bit more and needs a cap on damage so that it does not infinitely scale, but I don't think that it should be nerfed any further than the next patch and here's why.

I feel that if they buff conqueror, electrocute, and press the attack, we would see a shift from everyone spamming dark harvest on ever champion, to actually having runes that are viable for solo carrying and players having the feeling that they have more control over their games and can snowball to solo carry. Especially with the new shutdown system, if a rune stands out from all the others and an enemy player gets a 1k gold shutdown on you because you are fed, they can all of a sudden negate all of you snowballing that you did for the game.

But nerfing dark harvest until is is useless like they did with a lot of runes, should not be the way to go. They have done this time and time again and solo carrying games just gets harder and harder as time goes on, and solo sue games come down to team fights instead of individual play.

I feel like buffs to the other runes would help out every lane and every role to help carry games easier and with less frustrating play. Buffing conq would help bruisers in the top lane that are getting their asses handed to them by mages rushing iceborn gaulet and perma sustaining that lane (cough, cough fuckin Viktor), buffs to pta or fleet would help bring back the ad carry role, and buffing electrocute would help a lot of champions in mid lane curretly.

But with rune buffs there are bound to be champion nerfs, which I'm ok with, riot needs to make the rune system a constant and stop nerfing everything that was making champions that are not meta, viable in solo and solo carrying games, more viable.

It just needs a little nerf to make it's early game a little bit more risky.

With the nerf coming through its early game proc will do less damage than an auto but good late game scaling IF the game goes late.

5x DH is dangerous no matter how they nerf it. And DH shouldn't proc on sion passive. But all said, I finally feel like I matter in matches now as a Zyra main. I feel like her late-game damage is back on track. DH is an investment rune, and if you can't scale it, it's pretty useless. But the concept of the rune is giving old champs and new metas a chance.

Enjoy it while it lasts. It's going to be trashed soon, I am sure. There's just no way to contain it without making it useless I don't think.

The last thing I want to see is a buff to bloody conqueror. Thing's a abomination for this game. FoB when it was broken was more balanced than this firestorm.
