Should I Main Support?
I like the idea in theory but the problem I find with support is you are WAY too reliant on your team.
Any thoughts from some of the support mains out there?

I main support because I just really enjoy helping, enabling and saving allies. I think this is the best way you can play support and have most fun with it.
Yes you rely on others more because you can't fight champions or take objectives, but you could also see it like this: supports are pretty exclusive because they have other stuff to do. Everyone else does somewhat the same, but nobody does what you do. You have a lot of tools to create a great macro game for your team.
*Well, my first thought is that just because you're not doing the damage doesn't mean that you are too reliant on the team. By that thought, the carry is too reliant on their team as well. A damage dealer likely cannot start the fights as much, can't peel for themselves, and setup as much vision control. There is a lot a support can do towards a team and it's probably one of the game knowledge intensive roles. It can be quite impactful and a good learning role.
Learning where to ward is huge. It's common to just ward the bush for your lane to watch for jungler or mid coming, but warding the camps if you have the safe time can be huge to know where the jungler is way before he goes towards your lane. Watching the minimap to collapse if your jungler needs it. Roaming to get a kill in another lane (big one that I learned recently is to just do your roam after you back. People are probably expecting that you're just going back to lane and probably don't ping MIA). Harrassing the other ADC so he cannot farm as safely as yours can.

What type of support U are Ap or Tank?
That will help u to identify if u are support role or not and witch champs u most use.
main support if u want honnor. in games where no one in particular carries the support usually gets some honnor.
ADC is far more reliant on team than support
I tried to main support. Got tired of it after awhile, was constantly treated like a servant or sacrificed on the Alter of Salt when it was time to fight/run. Takes a special breed of person, thats not me. Everyone wants a support, but no one wants to be the side kick.
