RANK DUO IS BUGGED! (upvote this please!)

I was masters last season along with my friend. When I go into solo/duo rank and try to duo with him, it says that are ranks are different. When I invited a silver though, they could join my duo and start a game. I'm masters and i can duo with a silver last season. Is there a bug? Why can't I duo with people my elo?

are either of you placed yet? Unranked counts as silver so if your friend had already placed and is platinum, for instance, you won't be able to play with him but you can duo with a bronze for all anyone cares until you get placed into a division.

if one of you already finished placement while the other hasn't, then the system consider you guys different ranked. Is this the case?
