Rank duo bug!!!

I was masters last season along with my friend. When I go into solo/duo rank and try to duo with him, it says that are ranks are different. When I invited a silver though, they could join my duo and start a game. I'm masters and i can duo with a silver last season. Is there a bug? Why can't I duo with people my elo?

Having a similar issue. I finished last season as Diamond 5 and my buddy was Platinum 2. Won't let us queue up together for placements in solo/duo as it says we are too far apart.

Any idea on why this is happening?
