Riot can you stop screwing up my resolution every time theres an update

It takes me 90 years to actually fix my resolution every time you update because you guys have said you're going to help the 4k monitor people but refuse to actually help. While rearranging my resolution with this most recent patch my screen went all black and it ended up costing me the first 5 minutes of the game I had just joined. Nothing says fun like joining and being level 1 while everyone else is level 6.
