Hi Summoners, Recently I had got myself out of bronze 5 to bronze 4 and I realized that there had been a critical problem. I could never get lp gains that I had when i did in bronze 5. One won game for me would give me 12-13 lp, while a lost would give me 18-20 lp lost. It feels like I am playing division 1 games. Anyone know the reason why?

Quindarian3 votesYou probably have a really rough MMR. But what is MMR? Well, MMR is what determines how much LP you gain and how much you lose for each game you play. Basically, if the game truly believes you play like a bronze player, it's going to give you a bronze MMR. This is why two people in the exact same queue might gain and lose different amounts. All I can say is that you need to play better; the game should respond postively to good play.
I'm not saying you're bad, but I will tell you that you should keep practicing in normals, or you'll just keep teetering on the edge like you are now.

The yasuo game i just played, we played a 4 v 5 where my internet dropped in the middle. What frustrates me is that I am performing well ever since I got promoted, yet the lp gains are really bad.

tonzillacrayon1 voteswin rates probably negative. Game see's you as bronze 4 level so its saying you belong there. The more you win the faster the "clamp" gets fixed
TSA unityinstall1 votesI played horribly in bronze 5, but I improved slowly and I manage to win games as well. I manage to get myself to bronze 4, albeit with a negative win rate. I don't think it is fair that I have to go on a 4 win streak in order to negate one lost.
tonzillacrayon1 voteswell you played bad you earned it. You winning the 4 and losing it all in one is the game putting you where you belong. if you keep doing that over a period of time it will say okay timmy you deserve to get higher and you get more lp.
