Why is MY LP always at the mercy of whatever smurf decides to play that day [Rant]

It is literally the most frustrating thing to have REPEATED games lost because one player decides to be a terrible person and say "Oh it doesn't matter, I'm just gonna play lucian jungle because I'm in the top 10 Olaf players in diamond on my main account" when in all reality, it just means that "Hey, I don't really care about your ELO or LP but I'm just gonna do what I want because it won't affect me!"

There was never a time when it was ok to be toxic in league, and there has never been a time where having more then one account isn't inherently a toxic experience and breeds nothing useful out of it.

I have absolutely no problem with off-meta picks in NORMAL games, because frankly who cares, there's nothing to lose there, but I don't want some random moron to come into my RANKED games and pick off-meta things just because it won't affect him in the slightest.

No player should ever be punished for playing their best in the ranked system, only to have Smiling Diamond Daryll come down with his full AP-Draven Mid game to ruin the experience for them.
