Could some of the items in TFT be used as templates for new ones in SR?

(If you don't think this is the right area for this discussion mods, feel free to let me know)

What I mean is like some of the items like Ionic Spark, Hush, Deathblade, Jeweled Gauntlet, Swordbreaker and stuff. I wouldn't say they should mirror the stats that those items give in TFT, but perhaps some could be used as components for new items. While we obviously don't know what's in store for Preseason, but perhaps some could provide inspirations, or act as icons, or so on for possible new items in SR.

Adding a completely new item can shift the weight of so many things. It's why we don't see new items almost at all. One item can buff a whole slew of champions, and it's complex to balance to make it work right across the board. Like when ardent censor came out. It was so strong for a while amoungst healers / shield champs, it was beyond unstoppable in games. Don't forget items that get nerfed or buffed can drastically change metas, champion play styles, and selection as a whole. Also they have to make sure it doesn't render any other item obsolete. I can't even remember last time someone used Ohmwrecker..
