Hey guys worried about my placements!!!!!

So last season I ended up Gold 5 with a little higher mmr than my league according to na.op.gg I'm worried because so far im 0/1 in my placements (I played absolutely awful my head wasn't in it at all and I faced a gold 1 draven- I talked to him, and my supp wasn't ranked; I went 2/7/5 as cait). I'm worried because I've heard awful stories about placements so far. I would typically be fine with silver 5-4 because ik ill be able to climb again however if i get placed bronze ill be very disappointed. Any advice (should I wait to play my placements?)
