Every now and again I will play some kayle support in norms cause I love how aether wing kayle looks. I noticed today that her q at lvl 1 costs 70 mana. Aren't her mana costs really high for what they are worth? What does everyone else think?
Kanzler2 votesIt doesnt just slow. It also does damage. As most of her damage is auto attack based, why shouldn't she have normal mana costs on a utility/damage spell?
BobaFlautist2 votesHer Q is probably a little undertubed right now, but she used to win solo lanes by pressing q on cooldown, so they nerfed the mana cost, then the base damage, then the scaling. Very similar to Elise Q.
Anyway, it's still a targeted 3s slow on an 8s cooldown with pretty solid AP and bonus ad scaling.
OurLestrade1 votesIsn't the duration of the slow incredibly long or something? Pretty sure the slow scales well too, combine with her W being a massive speed boost.
