Who to ban as Lux?

1. You shouldn't need to ban anyone because she can deal with most champs. Just get rid of a strong jungler or something.

2. You shouldn't be playing Lux support.

#1. Yasuo #2. Vel'koz #3. Zed #4. Fizz #5. Vladimir

For mid with over 100 games of Lux this season in plat and probably well over 1k overall my time playing league these are the ones I have issues with. I only usually ban Yasuo, but if he is already banned I will ban Zed. These are in order of hardest to least hard BUT Vel'koz, Vlad, and Fizz are played less so I wouldn't ban unless you see them often. For support I couldn't tell you, as I don't play her as support but I would guess things like Brand and Leona are issues. In the JG Lee Sin, Warwick and generally any jungler that can get on you fast and dodge your skills is an issue. Lucian and Vayne are awful to hit skillshots on and I have a hard time with it.

In case you care, short reasons for the bans/issues: Yasuo - Self explanatory. Dashes all over the place, your cooldowns are long early 10+ seconds so most of the time his shield is up when you harass. He windwalls your entire combo, he can block you from csing cannon creeps.

Vel'koz - Surprisingly hard match up. You may have more/even range but his skills have WAY lower cds, cost less mana and are in some cases easier to hit. You (majority of the time) must hit every one of your skills + your passive to kill, Vel'koz can kill you with just his ult if you take the entire thing.

Zed - Pre - 6 you're fine, and afterwards you're dead. His ult hard counters Lux and he can easily CS from range.

Fizz - Always been a bad match up. He can troll pole your q and with your long cooldowns, you're dead.

Vladimir - Not actually SO hard in teamfights later, but in lane he can heal any and all harass you put down on him while pushing you out of lane. He can also pool your entire combo making laning nearly impossible to win.

I'm not the best Lux player but I DID get to diamond with her season 5 or 6 (can't remember). Been a bad season for Lux, and me haha, but if you actually main her and get good, you can carry your way to diamond easily.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and TALON for sure. He's a pain to lane against but in team fights you can avoid him and pick the carries off.

Assassins and such.

lux cant really handle any sort of hard CC as support, if u get caught your dead.

she IS a good support but u can't pick her into certain champs like i don't play mid much anymore

but the same issue.. she can do fine vs most AP mid laners.. but keep the AD away from you.. so ban people like

Fizz tends to be a problem for me since he can dodge most of your stuff, takes less damage and has a bleed. Katarina's another one since she can just pop you under tower.
