Let's just take a minute and appreciate the wonderful game RIOT has brought to us. It's amazingly well made, many game modes, many lovable characters, has very intriguing lore, has a wide variety of skins and champions, and you don't even have to pay for anything! Sure you could buy a few skins and boosts like i did, but over all it's a fair system. Sure some champions need to be a bit balanced, but nothings perfect the people who make the game are only human. Anyways thank you RIOT for such an amazing game!

Now that we got that out of the way, let's talk about easy fixes that would make this game so much better.

FF time needs to be reduced.
Matchmaker needs to be fixed. Stop using MMR to match people. Match people in the same division +/- 1.

Yeah, the MMR logic is pretty dumb the way I see it. Maybe Riot has a reason for it that they could explain to me in pictures, but if you're in say Silver with a high MMR of Gold, and you're hovering at a 50% winrate because your MMR is right where it needs to be...... why not just be in Gold?

I get what you're asking for, in regards to "matchmaking", but you are using all the wrong words. MMR and matchmaking are the good parts. The Leagues (ranking) system is what you really want to change. Because that system separates MMR and rank, such that rank is a terrible estimation of skill level, and it's very opaque. Rank is determined only through consistent performance (i.e. grinding for LP, promo series, and demotion protection), with an extra safe-guard to protect against Tier demotion. If you don't care about that extra consistency in your rank, and would rather have a simpler, more exact ranking system, then what you really want to ask for is to have the "Leagues" system removed/reworked, not MMR.

Yes, Riot. Thank you for a game that corrupted my view on games, almost killed all of my interest to appreciate them and ended up being a major reason for many of my real life hardships.

I wholeheartedly wish I was never convinced by my friends to install this game.

But it's way too late now.

That's the bias alright.

When somebody makes a comment how LoL saved their dog, cured cancer or made them omnipotent, they get showered in upvotes, compliments, wish-you-do-well's and glitter.

When somebody makes a comment how LoL made them bitter, nigh incapable of compassion or ended up being an obstacle in life in one way or another, they get downvoted to hell, have remarks thrown at them and whatnot.

people just don't like negativity. it's definitely bias because shade's bein thrown on the game they like, but it's pretty understandable. i don't downvote people very often myself though. the only way to get downvotes out of me is replying to my posts saying you disagree, and then i'll do it to be petty 😏
