Blue essence bug

I have played a few games with my friends since the recent update and we have not been getting blue essence for any of our games, win or lose. anyone else having this issue?

you only get blue essence for daily wins which is like 50 essence. after that you get none til you level up and get champ capsules to disenchant shards

50 per day isn't not worth it. I just got back into league for this?
