Veigar in high elo. Caps used him in LCS?!

yo sup. i am a low elo veigar main. i spammed him pretty much lately i am right now in my b2 promos wich is very nice. but the question is does he really fit in high elo? becuse all his abilites is easy to dodge and predict. i saw CAPS play him in LCS and they end up winning pretty easy against H2K. but can u still play him in high elo? play against more experience players who know how to dodge skills shots, bully u so have hard time farming so u cant stack up your Q and other things?

Well it's still a bit early to think about higher elo but yeah of course he works in higher ranks as well. You just need to know how to counter that stuff, Blitzcrank for example isn't useless in higher ranks right? yet he is very reliant on landing a skillshot. If they know how to dodge skillshots, higher rank players also knows how they will dodge the skillshot.

If you are insecure on how to play Veigar, you can always look up a guide or someone that plays like only Veigar and see how they do against different matchups.

He works in any ELO in a siege composition. Cloud 9 played him last split, I think? It could have been another split, but it was recent. Sneaky played Cait, Jensen played Veigar. They simply dropped the event horizon behind the tower they wanted, put traps on the back end of the horizon and Sneaky took towers. After about 30 minutes, the game was over.

In a sense, he fits into very specific compositions or against very specific laners. He's exploitable, but he's also Veigar, so he can feed for twenty minutes and not care. As far as dodging his skillshots, Froggen makes landing Annivia skillshots look simple by using the wall to force someone into the shots. Veigar can replicate that by using the event horizon not as cc, but as a zoning tool. Presenting someone with the chance of eating a q, or stepping into the wall and eating and e, isn't that far of a reach.

ANY champion works in Higher Elo. You have to remember Singed was a champion for like season 3/4/5/6 was a garbage champion, but there were still Singed mains in DIamond+ divisions.
