Just a quick question. Why does Katarina ult apply Grievous wounds? I mean does it really help that much? "Mundo ulted better ult to stop dat health" Like just why?

In order to make it more difficult for anyone on the oppposing team to save the target she's going for. She heavily relies on getting one kill in order to do anything in a fight.

Before they reworked Katarina a while ago, her old W, Killer Instincts, gave Grievous Wounds to her Q and E. When they did rework her, they just kept odd things on her kit that slowly lost meaning as time went on. More specifically, they kept Grievous Wounds and put it on her Ultimate, and kept some of AD ratios despite them doing fuck all. They kind of wanted her to be a hybrid, but that never really did work out.
