Why is it that when disabling Line Missile Display we don't have a Range indicator for Illaois Q?

Normally when you disable Line Missile Display it instead shows a circle around the champ showing that skills range. This is the only reason I have Line Missile Display disabled in the first place so that I can always see the range of my skills. This is not the case for Illaois Q and its extremely frustrating to play as her when you dont know the range of one of your skills.
