Buff Karma's W Range!
Alright,
has never really been a popular midlaner, of course she can go mid, she just gets outclassed. Karma's kit is very strong, and knowing how to use it makes Karma look like a monster. But she has one problem that really sticks out to me. Her W range, currently at 675 range, is very VERY rarely used when I play, or see Karma played. The damage is fine, but when do you ever see a Karma use it for damage? The range is so short, she puts herself in danger so she never gets to even use the snare portion of it.
My proposal is to take it's range, and increase it to 900-950, and make it more like
's, where if they stay within 1000 range, they will be snared. I feel like this is fair, and doesn't create much toxicity to the game, this just gives Karma the reliability to actually use the ability. If you think I'm wrong, let's look at
's snare. Her snare is a skillshot, one reason why the range is so long, but it also does 80 / 130 / 180 / 230 / 280 (+ 100% AP) if she successfully snares. Not only does it have high scaling, it also slows by 25% over the duration, creating it more difficult to escape without using a dash/flash/ect. to get away.
's snare lasts for 1.5s. But the biggest part of all,
's E is 80% of the time not a mandatory skill to pull off her quick burst. Normally, a quick Q-R-W will get the job done, only needing the E if she needs to slow them down, plans to double chain, or W's AOE didn't proc Mimic Sigil of Malice.

forms a 675-range tether to target enemy champion, revealing and dealing 60 / 110 / 160 / 210 / 260 (+ 60% AP) to the target over 2 seconds at 0.66-second intervals
Lets not forget, both of these champions can enhance, or repeat the ability doing increased damage. Let's look at this side by side.

Damaging enemy champions with abilities refreshes 2 seconds of Mantra's cooldown, and half that amount on basic attacks against enemy champions.
Mantra W:
MAGIC DAMAGE: 135 / 260 / 385 / 510 / 560 (+ 120% AP) (Roughly, considering it adds onto the damage of the ability, which scales with rank)
Deals bonus damage (75 / 150 / 225 / 300 (+ 60% AP)) and heals Karma for 20% (+ 1% per 100 AP) of her missing health upon casting. If the tether is not broken after the 2 seconds, Karma is once again healed for 20% (+ 1% per 100 AP) of her missing health.

Yes,
's does heal, which unfortunately very rarely/never gets used because of short range. Now, unlike
, Karma's W snare is essential to her burst pattern, W+R+Q+Q(secondary damage). The target usually needs to be snared to be hit by the 2nd tick ever.
Please Riot, consider this buff, considering Karma's 3.5-4% pick rate.
TL;DR: Karma is a strong champion, just not in the current long range meta. With a range buff to her W, it would give her a more reliable, less risky heal, snare, and lane harass. Currently, in my eyes it is just an unreliable, early game mana burner.
