Corki's passive is disadvantageous and useless at all stages of the game

The auto attack split between magical and physical damage makes corki disadvantageous at all stages of the game, since at levels 1-6 it is bad, because the total auto attack damage is reduced by both MR and armor. Before the rework the passive was 100% physical and 10% true damage, and in laning phase we could trade auto for auto with the enemy adc and come out on top. In this patch, we would lose every trade, since level 1 vayne or any other classic adc auto attack damage will deal more than Corki's level 1 auto attack damage.

Later on, bruisers and tanks get their item 3065 item 3001 item 3156 items, countering the E mr shred and the item 3020 boots. We want to build penetration, but our best option is void staff, which in team fights only applies to ~70% of the damage, and the AP doesn't help much since corki's AP ratios are low.

This is so mind-boggling if you think about it, because one could build adc ahri or adc twisted fate for example, build AD items along with a last whisper item, and actually deal more damage to tanks than Corki.

> HEXTECH SHRAPNEL SHELLS: Corki's basic attacks deal 110% of his attack damage evenly split between physical and magic damage. Life steal will apply to both damage types. > The 55-55 modifiers interact with critical strikes and Runaan's Hurricane item.png Runaan's Hurricane's Wind's Fury while other 'bonus damage' effects are applied as normal.

The whole point of the rework is that corki's auto attack bonus damage scales with sheen and critical strike effects. as off patch 6.7(REMOVED: 10% increased damage), there is no point of having split damage, and it is actually better to have 100% physical damage.

Tl;Dr : It is better for Corki to have 100% physical damage than 50% physical/50% magical damage, because it is crucial for levels 1-6 which determines bot lane winners, and also allows Corki to use the AD itemization(Black cleaver, Last whisper, Ghostblade, etc).

This bastardization of one of the most solid adc must be handled by riot asap.

Actually since Corki and Vayne start with the same AA. Corki will deal more AA damage since most people have more armor than they do MR, so more of Vayne's AA damage (all physical) will be reduced than Corki's AA damage (half physical half magic) since the magic damage is reduced by MR and not Armor. So half of corki's damage will be mitigated by a lesser percent.

Vayne starts with 19 armor, add 9 from runes and u get 28. her base MR is 30 and with standard adc runes you get 42(just like any other adc). 42>28. Your arguement is false, I have done the math myself considering runes and starting items. corki's auto's does less damage than any other adc at level 1.

While I didn't factor in the MR at the beginning. The point stays the same. His AA's are hybrid damage which makes it harder to itemize against it. No other ADC gets that. Most people can just build Armor (which everyone gets armor per level (minus Thresh) by leveling up) Everyone's armor is far far higher than their MR especially late. So if you want to focus on that, hybrid damage is the plus.

Also if you want to be all 'argument is false', then I would like to point out that you mention 'The whole point of the rework is that corki's auto attack bonus damage scales with sheen'. It did not. The passive was a damage amplifier. Sheen goes off your Actual AD (which was not buffed by his passive) therefore, your argument was false.

Hybrid damage is not a plus. bruisers and tanks have base MR and armor values plus they will all get at least one dedicated MR item. some of them even have bonus MR. There is absolutely no effective way for corki to build penetration to kill tanks, that's why you dont see void staff or last whisper on any of his core builds. We should also consider this item that every supports buy:item 3105 . Considering this fact, corki is the only adc which his auto attack damage is reduced by the locket aura.

The 10% bonus damage was considered base damage, and that's why it was added to the sheen proc damage.

This is 7 months old, but still true imo. I just played Corki again as an adc, and he feels weak as fk. He feels much worse than ever before. I mained him 2 seasons, but atm he is just a useless adc unfortunately.
