Wait, 'Revisiting' Subclasses?

Were they ever implemented to begin with? The word doesn't even show up on the client (aside from the news block that reminded me of them just now, of course). It's been a year or so since the term was brought up in League and champion pages still only display base class roles. Why is Riot taking these made-up descriptors seriously while also ignoring them in the game? That's weird.

it's more of a lingo thing to communicate with players than a true class system. For example, if I suddenly told you that I would want tanks buffed to protect my allies better, having a line drawn between Vanguards and Wardens means I can more specifically say I want Wardens buffed, creating a more consistent dialogue than saying "Tanks, but not these Tanks, these Tanks"

With that in mind, Riot has been using these terms when talking to players.
