His W seems worthless, and it's passive is the only part of 
's kit that scales with health. His ult has no range and is just a shitty version of 
's.
Also, his new voice and character amount to 'Smash-happy Dunce', so everything about him has been downgraded. I'm not sure I want an 
rework anymore if the same team is working on him, is it too late to call them off and leave him at trash status?
I frequently played old Galio and really enjoyed him.
I saw the update and hoped for the best.

The galio rework was a huge success. It had some tweaking issues on release, but it is 100000% a successful rework.
My eyes hurt from reading this.

his W is a guarantee taunt towards anyone in his range, while also making him incredibly tanky, his E is immediate follow up to his taunt, or it can be vice versa, whatever was more convenient at the moment, thus giving you a option to mix up your combo. his W also allows for a vicious chain of crowd control lock to be fused with whoever is on your tea. A galio W flash into E combo, if you have a teamate near you is virtually a guaranteed kill. his Q is amazing and reliable harass that can bully many people out of lane and allows you to win most trades. His passive is a little weird, but it also adds conditional burst to his toolkit if you time it with your all in. His R has massive range, and when fused with teleport, you basically have another shen on your team who provides more damage.
his new personality is adorable and loveable, and i fangasm whenever i hear him talk. As a person who has encountered so much negativity. just hearing galios adorable lines always perks me up with lines such as.
"I didn't chose life but im sure glad it chose me" or "people just vanish..and they are replaced with new ones!" or "i was made to fight magic..but i sure hate when it's gone" he is just a ray of sunshine and innocence and I love it.
Galio is by far in the past two years my all time favorite NEW champion who has been made.
New Galio is my favorite tank to play. His Q is solid poke, his W is an AoE taunt that can swing team fights, catch fleeing enemies, secure ganks, etc. His E is a satisfying engage/peel/CC. And his ult...
His ult may be one of the most fun abilities in the game. You literally JUSTICE PAWNCH out of the sky, saving a teammate and delivering a satisfying AoE knockup. It can turn an enemy team's skillful engage into a massacre.
