Fix your absolutely appalling ranking system. Make a longer wait to get queued with PROPER people.

Just recently dropping out of gold, I am absolutely sick of the people I get queued with. There is rarely any equivalence in skill in terms of the people I get matched with. I almost always CS better in lane phase, by 15-20 farm at the very minimum. Usually I can out-pressure them. Sometimes I'll dominate a lane and snowball a victory. Conversely, I'll hug a tower if I'm not winning. I almost never flat out lose lane or 'feed' (it does happen to all of us, of course, but I put my greatest effort into making sure it doesn't happen). Being negative lane phase is an extreme rarity.

But it never fails. I get a feeding lane, or a terrible CS'er, or someone who can't ward when they are pushing. People who make poor engages or have no map awareness. My lead gets demolished via teamfights by the other super fed or farmed lanes.

It should not be my job or responsibility to carry the entire team to move up in rank, it should be a collective "we are overall better" effort. Once in a great while I'll get carried by someone who did snowball, but for the most part I am pulling a good chunk of the weight. It truly is insurmountable this way. I can't make up for 2+ other bad players with just generally poor play who rage when you try and tell them how to do better. Then I just get dragged further and further down just because I'm not snowballing the team every game. If that is what determines whether you belong in your rank, there is something fundamentally wrong with your system. Ranked games are rarely ever close, it's entirely too snowbally.

Surely there is a better system to determine rank. An MMR system designed for 1v1 is NOT balanced for a 5v5 game. Plain and simple.

Part of the problem is how you queue people. You say that people don't like waiting for games, but I bet people would love to have more evenly matched teams instead of rushing off to find people "close" in rank to get a game started. There are enough people playing this game that such doesn't need to happen anymore. I'll take a 5 or 10 min wait over a 1-2 min wait if I don't get matched with 3 people who are in their PROVISIONALS when I have 100+ wins this season. There is just no excuse. On top of that, every loss seems to count more than a win, which is just ridiculous. you can almost undo 2 wins with 1 loss. How is anyone supposed to climb that way? (and yes, I know the amount depends on who you get matched with, which then just comes full circle).

This is infuriating as someone who knows they are better than the rank they are in. I'm not saying I'm diamond or masters, but I certainly don't belong in silver with people in their provisionals and jungles who don't buy their jungle item.

It's been 5 years, you couldn't come up with a better system yet?

FIX THIS PLEASE. ANYTHING WOULD BE BETTER.
