Leona nerf is unjustified.....every one is better playing Nautilus and sejuani has a support now
lets compare her to few champion with kit similar to hers nautilus, amumu, sejuani i will not compare her to champions like braum and thresh who from champion concept was intended to be a support champion, Leona was never intend to support, iron stylus created in Leona in response to the league community asking for a female tank but they fuck up and gave a her a shit ass passive. Nautilus and Sejuani has better ap ratios and higher base damage they bring constant cc. hopefully people will stop playing her and she becomes the new yorick just waiting at the bottom of the barrel for a proper tank rework not this support shit they trying to cram onto her ps. i am mad salty and am gonna start new a new account on this new account riot wont get a dime from me
leona buff: Leona’s Q range has been increased from 30 to 50 and the cooldown is decreased from 11/10/9/8/7 seconds to 9/8/7/6/5 seconds. Also, the root duration of her E has been increased from 0.25 seconds to 0.5 seconds. this was the only good thing ever happen to leona since release everthing else is just nerf from base hp regen etc.
Nerf:Leona’s passive damage has been lowered from 20-140 (at levels 1-18) to 20-105 (at levels 1-18). The damage on her Q has been lowered from 40/70/100/130/160 to 30/55/80/105/130 and her W damage is also decreased from 60/110/160/210/260 to 60/100/140/180/220. Finally, the damage from her ultimate is down from 150/250/350.
the nerf by far out-scale the buff that her q got, and the change to her ult is not even a compansation the her all her abilites damage nerf, leona has 4 abilities that scale with ap since she is tank hr ap ratio are shit but most tank have shit ap raito so i really dont care about that, but since she is a tank and 95% never builds ap, so now lacks alot of damage compare to other tanks now

Passive: (the worst passive for a tank ever) Sunlight Damaging spells afflict enemies with Sunlight for 3.5 seconds. When allied Champions deal damage to those targets, they consume the Sunlight to deal additional magic damage.
Q: Shield of Daybreak Next basic attack deals 30/55/80/105/130 (+30% Ability Power) bonus magic damage and stuns for 1 seconds scales with ap, so all this is good for is just getting that 1 second stun
W:Eclipse Grants 20/30/40/50/60 (+20% of bonus Armor) bonus Armor and 20/30/40/50/60 (+20% of bonus Magic Resistance) Magic Resist for 3 seconds. When the effect ends, nearby enemies struck take 60/100/140/180/220 (+40% Ability Power) magic damage and Leona retains her bonus Armor and Magic Resist for 3 seconds. this was armor and magic resist on this was nerf a year ago but they did compensate it by allowing it to scale with mr and armor that she builds which is very nice the proper way to shift around stats
E: Zenith Blade no one cares it was only use to close the gap
R: Solar Flare Calls down a radiant beam of solar energy dealing 100/175/250 (+80% Ability Power) magic damage and slowing enemies by 80% for 1.5 seconds. Enemies in the center of the flare are stunned instead of slowed. she gains a clunky passive using Solar Flare, Leona gains Incandescence for 5 seconds. During that time, Leona’s next 3/4/5 basic attacks gain +100 range, deal 30/40/50 (+0.15 ability power) bonus magic damage, and apply Sunlight. Shitty ap ratio and leona being a tank rarely if ever builds ap
Nautilus: Staggering Blow Nautilus' basic attacks deal bonus physical damage and immobilize his targets. This effect cannot happen more than once every few seconds on the same target. nautilus being a tank far better passive than leona
Q:Dredge Line Nautilus hurls his anchor forward. If it hits an enemy unit, Nautilus drags himself and the target together dealing 60/105/150/195/240 (+75% Ability Power) magic damage and stunning them briefly.If the anchor hits terrain, Nautilus will drag himself forward and the cooldown is reduced by 50% (0.5).
W:Titan's Wrath Nautilus surrounds himself with dark energies for 10 seconds, shielding him from the next 65/70/75/80/85 (+10% of bonus Health) (9/11/13/15/17% of his max Health) damage.While the shield persists, Nautilus' basic attacks deal 30/40/50/60/70 (+40% Ability Power) bonus magic damage over 2 seconds to all enemies around his target.
E: Riptide Nautilus slams the ground, causing the earth to explode around him. Each explosion deals 55/85/115/145/175 (+30% Ability Power) magic damage to enemies in the area and slows them by 30/35/40/45/50% for 1.25 seconds. This slow diminishes over time.A unit can be hit by more than one explosion, but they take 50% less damage from additional explosions.
R: Depth Charge Nautilus fires a shockwave that chases an enemy champion, dealing 125/175/225 (+40% Ability Power) magic damage to other enemies it passes through and knocking them into the air.The shockwave explodes upon hitting its target dealing 200/325/450 (+80% Ability Power) magic damage, launching them into the air and stunning them for 1/1.5/2 seconds.
Both naut and leona ult have 0.8 ratio, both do aoe damage with the exception on naut knocks up his lock on target and leona stuns those that are in the center of her ult, Leona ult can be dodge naut can not but his get a 450 base damage and leona ult get gutted to 250 base damage so she can have some clunky ass passive on her ult
Sejuani Riots second female tank that get treated has a tank, i know that she has been nerf in the past
Passive: Damaging an enemy with an ability or basic attack grants Sejuani bonus Armor and reduces movement-slowing effects on her. look at that a tank with a passive that benefits a tank
Q: Arctic Assault Charges forward, knocking enemies into the air and dealing 80/125/170/215/260 (+40% Ability Power) magic damage. The charge stops after knocking an enemy champion into the air.
W:Flail of the Northern Winds Sejuani's next basic attack also affects enemies near her target. All affected units are dealt magic damage equal to 4/4.5/5/5.5/6% (+[3% Ability Power]%) of their own maximum Health. Sejuani then swings her flail, dealing 40/70/100/130/160 (+10% of bonus Health) (+60% Ability Power) magic damage to nearby enemies over 4 seconds.If this ability is reactivated, Sejuani immediately starts swinging her flail
E:Permafrost Passive: Abilities and basic attacks apply Frost to enemies for 4 seconds. Active: All nearby enemies with Frost take 80/105/130/155/180 (+50% Ability Power) magic damage and are slowed by 50/55/60/65/70% for 1.5 seconds.
R: Sejuani throws her True Ice bola in a line. If the bola hits an enemy champion, it shatters, stunning the target and nearby enemies for 1.25/1.5/1.75 seconds. If the bola reaches its maximum range, it shatters and slows enemies by 30% for 1.25/1.5/1.75 seconds instead.All enemies in the shatter area take 150/250/350 (+80% Ability Power) magic damage.
leona ult is a shadow of this now, so why even pick Leona to support anymore
