Hey Rito!!

Us Annie mains are feeling like we got the wrong end of the stick with the ultimate hat rune. With the rune you can get your ult down to a 60% cd reduction, which is great.

Unfortunately this means if tibbers is alive, the ult is back up before he has timed out (he last for 45secs, lvl 3 ult cd is somewhere in the 30s). Of course you can send him into a tower or an enemy to "excecute" him. Bht that's annoying and inpractical if you're not near any of that. It also then feels like you give the enemy a 'free' 50 gold + exp.

What would be nice is some sort of excecute mechanic, where we can auto kill our bear if we want to recast it. Idk how you'd implement that, maybe even a unbinded command like the vision ping. Maybe even HAVE two bears up at once!? (That wouldn't make a lot of sence tho). Anyway idk just thought I'd ask since at this point the ultimate hat isn't really viable at all for annie and it seems a little unfair.

Or, you could just not take ultimate hat because it doesn't synergize with her ult? You've got 2 other options if it's your primary keystone, 7 other options if it's secondary. I never expected Annie would need Ultimate Hat to begin with. Taking it on her is a waste

I realise, but put it this way:

A champ like Malz synergises really well with it, since his ult is busted and the cool down in long.

A champ like nidalee doesn't synergise with it because her ult is a tiny cool down and 60% of 3 secs is irrelevant.

Annie, who is a burst mage heavily reliant on her moderate to long cool down ult, it EXACTLY the kind of champion that should benefit from a rune like this, except you can't because your dumb bear hangs around like dead weight if you're not taking turrets or killing enemies. This seems like less of a fact that she doesn't synergise and more of a "bug" (bug isn't the right word, but you get the general idea).

Is it really that bad to have to wait for your bear to time out? Couldnt you just build a bit less CDR in your kit and more damage? I know it wouldnt be maxing the ult hat potential but youd be maximizing your dps that way? I dont play annie so I dont really have a horse in this race but that seems to be the best option imo.

Annie has short range and no gap closers apart from flash, DPS on her is pretty eh. Having ult up is necessary to one shot someone, so getting a shit ton of CDR runes at the moment is really good (except for ult hat at this point, because she can't really use it).

If you're not near an enemy or tower, you don't need to cast R anyway...? If you really have e to get rid of him, just use him to clear some jungle camps.

I don't see how having >100% uptime on one of the strongest in-game summons is a downside, especially since Annie is the only sunmmon-ultimate champion (as far as I can tell) who gets the privilege of having the CD tick down while the summon is up - Yorick and Ivern wish they had that problem.

I know the actual active is a valuable spell/nuke blah blah blah, but having Tibbers up is hardly a tragedy. Also, Tibbers only gives gold on death (and only if last hit), not xp.

About jungle camps, thats exactly what I do, but then if an enemy comes, I would like to use my off cool down ult on them, rather than dying as Tibbers kills raptors.

About Yorick and Ivern, thats weird. I see no reason why they should act differently to Tibbers. If that's the case then Yorick's Maiden and Daisy should at least benefit from the CD when they're alive, but ideally be "buffed" so if it's off cool down they can execute the alive one and use a new one. Just like what I think should happen to Tibbers.

And about the xp, you're right, don't know why I said that lol, but giving the emery 50 gold still feels kinda tilting.
