Can Elementalist Lux's 2nd form scaling be lessened a little more?

Does anyone else think it seems like it really takes forever to reach Elementalist Lux's 2nd form? It is surprising how quickly you can reach your first form, but the scaling skyrockets for the level of effort to reach your second form. I was at 97% at one point and landed my Q, E, and R on 2 enemies only to get to 99%! I get it that you have to work a bit more to reach it, but that climb appears to steepen a little too much in my opinion. When it only goes up with spells landed on champions (AA doesn't count nor do minions I believe), playing against skilled players can easily make it take forever if not almost impossible to reach Lux's second form to enjoy. I know Riot doesn't want us to under-appreciate her first forms by blowing through them, but it would be nice if they could lessen the amount of work to get to that second form and be able to enjoy that too before a match is actually over. I haven't gotten her on ARAM yet, so I am unaware if it can be reached more quickly on a narrow map with 5 champs in front of you (in what normally averages in 20 minute matches).
