Champion Mastery needs a bit of work...

OK so I like the idea of Champion Mastery but it needs some changes. First off i think it should be based on how you do as a player ( KDA and such). I just played a game of Diana where i had done quite well (22/10/9). I had gotten an S- but since my team lost i only got 299 Champion mastery points. I don't think its fair to get your points based on how your team does and whether or not if you win or lose. This system is there so you can see who you are good with but it gets inaccurate when your entire team does bad and you lose. So what i am getting out of this system is that you could be as bad as you want but as long as you win you will still be getting way more mastery points than the person who did amazing on the team that lost. That is why i think it should be based off your individual stats and not on if you win or lose because your team that you will only see once in your entire life didn't do so good.

Sincerely,

Scuttler Senpai

Part of the system is designed to weigh your team's performance as a whole,

A) so people won't just ignore their teammates and focus on min/maxing champion points, and

B) because advantages should be shared between allies, even if they aren't as skilled as you.

I will agree that it's wrong to get more points for a win where you get a D than a loss where you get an S, but I also think the weight is a good thing. If you were to ask me, just make the win bonus 500 points, but standardize grades to make S+ ~700pts and a D ~100pts. That way really bad players will get fewer points than the best players on the losing team, but players with good grades who win will get roughly the same returns.
