Champion Shards When You Have All of the Champions

I have a feeling I'm not the only one with this problem. Right now, I have a lot of champion shards, but I already own all of the champions. The only good thing for me is that I'm going to get the next few champions without spending IP and I also have a problem with that. As of right now, the only IP drain is buying champions and runes. I don't really want any new runes because the set I have works for almost every champion. Now because I have so many champion shards, my IP is just going to sit in my account until I either run out of shards or I need to buy some rune for whatever reason. At the same time, my champion shards are just sitting there waiting for the new champion and even then I only use the 3.

I'm not asking to make it so I never get champion shard and I get it was just my luck of the draw. And I'm not saying the crafting system needs an overhaul because I mostly love it the way it is.

I'm only saying maybe the odds of getting them are lowered based on the number of champions I have or the number of shards I have.

Or maybe let me turn them into orange dust at an extremely reduced rate. Even if an Annie shard only gets me 5 orange, I would still feel better about the system.

Or maybe let me trade them with my friends. I can't tell you how many times my friend got a skin shard that I wanted and I got a champion shard he wanted and there was nothing we could do. You could even charge us IP to help fix the IP plug the system created.

The whole thing might be way more complicated than I know and this all might just be oversimplified solutions to a problem most of the players might not have. Just please don't forget about us, Riot.
