MarkDirtt1 - 2018 meta in a nutshell

I think the video kind of explains itself. Two ADCs walking up to each other giving each other a little 50% hp slap in the face, and walking away. Walking around getting one-shot or dying to anything that happens to you is not fun. Please do something about it, and consider keeping an eye on Dark Harvest.

Just look at that for a second...

Jhin's AA and MF's AA both dealing nearly exactly the same amount of damage, there goes to show how the skill expression in this game has died a long time ago.

Everything is point to click one shot now a days... Leblanc Jhin Rengar MonkeyKing Khazix Evelynn Graves Hecarim MasterYi Quinn Nocturne Vladimir

Making you realise that picking champions who need to land abilities in order to deal damage is pointless when you got others who do the same job but better, and easier, but also guarantee that the ability won't be dodged.

I mean, those two aren't exactly normal ADCs.

You literally took two of the three bustiest ADCs in the game, the ones with the highest damage per auto out of all ADCs, and possibly the highest per auto of all champions in the game.

You might as well put Maokai in a fight against Warwick and say that people are unkillable, or Riven against Ahri and say mobility is way too common and high. You took the absolute extreme examples of it and tried to pass it off as the norm.

In addition to that, Jhin and MF were full glass cannons and were almost full build. The only possible defensive rune they could have would be Nullifying Orb, which would only have helped against their RFCs and Scorch (which isn't even 150 points of pre-mitigated damage combined). If we extended a similar scenario to the other two examples I made: the WW and Maokai would have both had a item 3065 and item 3146 then, and the Riven and Ahri both would have had item 3152 and item 4003.

Hello? When has he not been able to do this since his release?

Hmm im prety sure mf could've 1 shot jhin with a bounced Q lol

MF was ~55% hp, and jhin shot his 4th shot, 30 mins into the game, running 100% crit, I'd assume Jhin would have around ~500 AD with a crit, that damage makes perfect sense from Jhin.

MF with dark harvest with her score, I'd assume around 180-200 stacks + 75 base damage at level 16 + ~55 from the ad items alone, since she auto'd with storm razor it guarenteed a 200% crit, she also has upfront damage from duskblade and rapidfire cannon, if she Q'd initial Q actually doesn't crit ever, do I think the damage is justified? With her build yes, but should it even be allowed, so if she Q'd, it'd actually deal slightly less damage well no, but the entire reason she could do that in the first place is duskblade and taking a scaling rune that is dark harvest, You take those 2 out of the equation, running a normal crit build would probably make her hit that jhin for about 40% for the initial hit if it critted and around 25-30% per additional crit

Yeah, it's really dumb. I had a game as MF support since my team picked all AP. My Swain ADC died in a fight, I picked up his soul, 1 hit the enemy ADC and used his soul to kill the support. In any other lane, if your ADC dies and the support is left alone against two enemies, the support dies. I don't get why I was rewarded for my ADC dying essentially.

Not really a good example. ADCs are supposed to do high damage. They are not supposed to be able to just walk up to someone and do it. With any decent player, walking up and exposing oneself like that would be heavily punished.

because they are both ad casters?

They both are squishy adcs of of course they will do that much damage ...

I don't think runes or items are necessarily as much of a problem as every damage dealer's defensive options were turned into offensive options with minor defense. Remember when GA had armor and magic resist, and Banshee's had HP and MR. Now all our defensive options have damage with some defense. But as someone else said, you picked non-traditional ADCs who have frontloaded damage in their kits instead of auto attacks over time. I'd much rather face a Jhin or MF than a Kai'Sa tbh. I've seen Draven's one shot people from one Q auto before with a stone plate in his items, while we were almost all at level 18. This was before people started complaining about damage too.

TBH, almost exclusively why I lean towards bruisers and tanks. Can't be bothered to have horse shit happen to me like that, rather be able to live through somebody's cheesy burst combo and then just outtrade them after all their damage is gone. Unfortunately it feels like some champions have no "damage gone" moments.
