Give a shield on Leblanc's distortion!

(READ AT LEAST 3 SENTENCES PLEASE!!!)

What if we give Leblanc a small shield (blocks only champion damage?) on her distortion. Maybe something like (8 * Champion Level + 15% AP) if she hits an enemy champion and (8 * Champion Level) if she didn't hit an enemy champion.

BUT LEBLANC CAN ONLY JUMP BACK IF THE SHEILD IS NOT BROKEN (BY CHAMPIONS?) ** JUMPING BACK ALSO CONSUMES THE SHIELD**

That way landing CC abilities on Leblanc actually puts her in a less favorable position. (Ie: Hitting an Xerath stun, Ahri charm, Thresh hook) (At level 1 and 60 AP with runes, Leblanc's shield is only going to be 17.) (At level 18 and 800 AP, Leblanc's shield is only going to be 264.)

This proposed change does not decrease Leblanc's burst in anyway. It is just that instead of no consequence due to the reliable escape, Leblanc needs to use her distortion smarter. If Leblanc decides to all in and uses her chain, she will have less chance to proc the chain AND jump back.

Also, the minimal amount on her shield is not meant for her to reliably block damage. Escaping with Leblanc by double distortioning away is still going to be the same as before (no shield granted when not hitting champions).

Note: The numbers are just there for an example, what is important is the idea of having a chance to cancel her backwards distortion.

EDIT: Vote no if you want, but at least tell me why it is a bad idea in the comments ty! c:

And what happens to her waveclear when trying to hit minions with Distortion? No return? That's a bit harsh.

The idea certainly has merit, as it prevents LeBlanc players from distorting into 3 players on the enemy team and not have to think of any negatives for it. But I have a couple problems with it: -Having a burst-style highly-tricksy mage a shield is thematically... weird. I'm not sure if it fits particularly well -It doesn't answer some of the problems players have with LeBlanc currently.

The second one is debate-able, but the current problem with LeBlanc is the fact that she can distort in, and then pull off her combo very quickly (Q,R,E - or even just Q,R if you want zero risk), then re-cast distort and give the opponent virtually no chance for retaliation or to avoid her damage. Maybe if her Q wasn't a point-and-click ability (and allowing your opponent to dodge it if they are fast enough), then it wouldn't be so much of a problem. But currently, there is little way to do this. If they intended on slowing her move-speed during her distortion, then an implementation like this would make sense (though I would change the amount to [12*champion level + 0.1 AP]) since it would add the needed counterplay.

Regardless though, this idea is a good suggestion and takes a lot of thinking to really see what type of impact it has.
