Usually Aatrox has a very good early gank, especially with the new Red Buff. Good early gank = could potentially get very ahead your laners.

Early-mid:

As soon as you finish the new jungler item, extremely underrated damage combined with full AS runes. Good early-mid game because of that dmg.

Mid-game :

Here is your weakness, because you should also go for Bloodrazor = Botrk. This means no HP/resistances mid-game. Try to avoid getting the 1st to the enemy, especially when passive is down.

Late-game :

Absolutely monster against tanky teams. Play as a frontline, don't try to dive theyr backline with this build. Just focus and drain from their frontline.

Conclusion :

Aatrox it's clearly not a trash pick as a jungler.

He is compared to where he was. Speaking as a plat aatrox main with 86% winrate he's nothing but a shadow of himself now. If you're building bloodrazor on aatrox you're trash and going to lose against anything that isn't a tank comp.
