Um what the heck , riot why do u keep saying things come out in patches but then not release them til later. Don't say something is going to be released if it's not with the patch it's confusing and gives false anticipation

Delaying release has to do with the slow transition. When the game is updated with all content being placed in at one it has lead to troublesome issues in the past. It's safer to slowly introduce the content. TahmKench

Sigh....every time.

The patch notes says, and I quote "The following skins will be released **during **patch 6.12"

It doesn't say at the start, it doesn't say 2 hours after the patch. It doesn't say on patch day PERIOD.

It just says that sometime during 6.12, which is usually 2-3 weeks long, the skins will be release.

"But they should release it with the patch because.."

I am going to stop this right here because I see this all the time. They don't release skins on the same day as the patch for 2 reasons.

  1. Bugs. Despite all the testing on the PBE, when files go from the PBE Servers to the Live Servers, bugs can and have occurred. This is why they do a final test/sweep before making it buyable.

  2. Events. Sometimes an event is going on and they wait till it over before it release. Sometimes they are making a new page for the skin line in question (which they usually do for Legendary skins.)

  3. Patterns. Skins are 95% of the time released on Tuesday or Thursday.

It is not confusing and it is not false anticipation on Riot part. It is all on you for not reading, not paying attention, and getting whiny/mad because of your lack of it.
