Really need to buff azir

his win rate is sub 40% since the nerfs, you can say all you want that win rates don't matter, but holy hell.

We should wait at least one week to draw a conclusion but yeah rito did it again. They nerfed everything about him. His poke in lane which needed a nerf. That is the Q only. But after a Q cast if it hits successfully you could attack 2 times with the soldier. Now you can only do it once in laning phase unless you get enough attack speed. So that's even more damage taken away. You could call it hidden power or whatever but it's noticeable and Azir can't do trade effectively anymore. His tower bomb has been nerfed into the ground.Which means his objective control which was imo the strongest aspect of his kit is gone. Yet he didn't get anything in return. I won't even mention the slow ass windup time on soldier's auto attack. Oh also he still has bugs: Soldier's not attacking sometime neither azir.Enemies sometimes still walk through the wall, etc.

cry more... honestly, he needed nerfs before they buffed him, and now they've identified the issue so we should see something done about him. A lane bully can't be a hyper-carry.

Azir is better than Ori at the height of her use except if he ever feels pressured he can fly away with his magical sand guardians and if that doesn't work he has a wall no one can get through.

I can't wait until they nerf him honestly, he's very near hyper carry status.

There's two things with Azir that need to be understood before balance changes are talked about.

  1. You can play against Azir. It's entirely possible. But few people seem to know to even so much as wait for your Q to be on cooldown before engaging.
  2. There's a high skill cap on him. It's not the normal players that are the issue on him; it's those that main him that make him scary despite such a low average win rate. I had a 70%ish win rate on him before the nerf. Now I'm at 50% (100% if you disregard the times I had people on my team afk) and to be honest, I hardly feel the nerfs. Yeah, it took the edge off his power, but fundamentally it didn't change my ability to lane bully. All it did honestly was make snowballing into hypercarry mode more difficult and less rewarding. And I'd be fine with that except he's supposed to be a hypercarry, not a lane bully. His early game should not be as strong as it is. I'm totally cool with taking off some more early game power if it means adding it back on later.

Honestly, I vote the following changes, all other things remaining as they are in the game at the moment. Q: Cooldown increased from 10/9/8/7/6 to 18/16.5/13.5/10/6 W: Soldier attack range now increases with W level as follows: 325/340/355/370/385/400 It gives him a clear weakness at low levels while reducing his poke. That said, if he endures, he can turn into a monster.
