Can We Get a Vayne Nerf Please?

I hope this is the right board for this haha. Not trying to rant or anything, but it sure seems that Vayne can slaughter anything no matter how terrible of a player you are. It's just annoying because you can camp Vayne so hard, and it won't matter. Or you can outplay her early and it won't matter. Unless you are literally a goat you will do well as Vayne. That's not to say there aren't some absolutely amazing Vayne players, though :) Just a thought. Anyone else agree or disagree? Why or why not? Thanks!

They just need to make shiv and firecannon the same unique passive after that we can see if the champs who abuse it need nerfing.

at this point i wonder why people arent building her like an attack speed bruiser. i mean she has so much item independent damage built into her kit, whats the point of playing her as a glass cannon, if you could literally build 6 defensive items and still deal reliable damage with silver bolts?

i mean its the same reason irelia was built as a bruiser instead of an ad assassin like initially intended.

vayne would probably be as strong or even stronger if youd build bork and the rest all out defense on her.

especially with the removal of the ap and the addition of crit and cdr on triforce you could just go item 3078 item 3153 item 3143 item 3022 item 1001 item 3065

auto attack resets on tumble artificially increase her attack speed for those w procs. she doesnt even need ar pen.

Despite having a high winrate overall, her winrate among the most experienced Vayne is about average, at just below 55%. A small nerf wouldn't be completely unjustified but theres no rush atm, I feel.

they buffed her last patch even though she was op. or at least outclasses other adcs imo. her percent health true damage needs to be either flat true damage or percent health not both.

Vayne is far from the strongest adc right now. We have item 3124 Corki Ezreal KogMaw , we have Graves , we have Kalista , Lucian , Jinx and Quinn

Under that we have Ashe Caitlyn Tristana MissFortune

Vayne is somewhere in between. And I'm pretty sure ones the interaction between item 3087 & item 3094 get nerfed she's in a fine spot.

Yes we can! A recent red post mentioned:

"Take the recent nerf to Vayne’s base AD. That was a targeted change to reduce her power in lane, it didn’t really affect her play pattern, it just made her weaker in the early game. Should there come a time where we feel Vayne’s early game is too weak, but we still generally like what her play pattern is doing, we may very well give her that AD back."

On this account I main the marksman role. Vayne is difficult to play and even more difficult after her early game nerfs. Her lategame got buffed, I agree but her early is so terrible.. I played against a Draven a few days ago and in the early game I could pick up some kills due to bad plays from him and we had the same farm. I survived and we won the game cause I could hit hella hard in the lategame while being mobile.

The point is, he had a strong early game teamcomp but still they could not manage to win the earlier. So we clearly deserved the win.

On the other hand I often played Lucian against Vayne and I could annihilate her due to her weak early game, snowball and carry the game. She does not need a nerf anymore imo.

Vayne Scales way to easy on just atatckspeed due to her %hp true damage combine a couple of attackspeed items with auto attack resets and your golden.

Im not a vayne player but what i see all the time is first 2 items attackspeed.

Unholy amounts of magic damage True damage nukes applied ultra fast with tons of attackspeed and aa resets Fat AD steroid on ult to make the crits hurt alot Healing on crits so no lifesteal is needed until later. Invisibility so you can get your aa tumble condemn into wall before your opponent can do anything about it(don't forget invisibility got buffed) Lets not forget very strong self peel through condemn and strong kiting with tumble, but then she also has ridiculous chasing potential with passive, you can not get to her and you can not run from her its a bit dumb, sure the kiting requires some skill from vayne but ist still annoying as hell when she can just condemn you away, unless you have 2 gapcloser youre fucked

Its so stupid to deal with you can't build defensively vs heavy crits bursts of magic damage on hit and true damage nukes applied by auto attacks

Vayne has a few weaknesses but they can all be covered by items masteries and support. Laning is not the best which is where your support comes in to help. No waveclear/pushing power so you get your shiv first and that is suddenly fixed. Lack of sustain in first two items, unless you do the old build, but you have the pseudo lifesteal and you have feast/vamp and often your support can help via direct healing or targons healing.

You guys can nerf the Shiv Cannon interaction, meanwhile I am LOVING this build.

It might not be optimal, but it's fun as hell to 3-shot squishies.

I am actually kinda surprised people still hate vayne, now that a lot of ADCs are viable instead of just vayne, I barely see her anymore.

Want to beat vayne? Caitlyn or Graves destroys her 100% of the time. Can't attack what outranges you and can't kill someone that all ins you and blows you up faster than you can press W to get them away from you.
