Kayle's reworked appearance aside, no one has really mentioned how broken she will be

Naturally everyone talking about the new Kayle rework and how they dislike (if not outright despise her new look), I don't really have an opinion as I never play Kayle. I am more concerned with Riots track record of cancerous things reworked into the game. So lets take a brief look down memory lane. Skip to the bottom if u dont care about the other reworks.

I guess we'll start with Galio, a champ I thought looked cool but never played. Going from a green actual gargoyle looking monstrosity to a white marble, anti mage broken in proplay nightmare that we all want nerfed (and he is). Now I never played the original galio, but I did see the few galio mains there was stripped of their main champ and given a different champion. I didn't really care until my former main was touched.

Aatrox, my former main, and the first champ I ever brought with me into ranked. An auto based drain tank, aatrox fucking sucked in season 7. But he wasstill my favorite. Runes reforged came out and once the dust settled, he was actually viable, to the point where he was an A tier jungler and top laner. But unfortunately, Riot's planned rework was already done and was released to the live servers. And what we got, and what made me stop playing him, was the piece of shit riven 2.0 bruisery cancerous fuck we see today and now that worlds is over, has been nerfed pretty heavily. Like galio he isn't even remotel similar to his old self. He doesn't rely on autos, his q now has 3 potential knockups, his dashes are on a different ability, his ult is now his ga ( I actually like that), and removes his bonus attack range. It's a shame that my champion cannot be played anymore.

Now before I start to sound like I hate all reowrks, let me add one I actually liked. Urgot, the crab man, while being a pain in pro play, and absolute cancer in the top lane, was a rework I enjoyed, even though it removed his former self. However unlike aatrox who was a top/jg, and galio who was mid/sup, urgot never fit in anywhere. He had a high skill cap, for mediocre rewards, and he had to be extremely fed in order to have a large impact on the game. I don't know how the urgot mains reacted to the rework, because I couldn't find them (lol). But after his rework, while giving us a new champ, this one was actually given an identity, which the old one lacked (also rip snowman urgot).

Now the last two on my list. First is akali. Screw this champion with her true stealth bs. For gods sake how long before Riot realizes CertainlyT should not be left unsupervised. True stealth because why not let her hit you under tower (thank god thats been removed). she's been a balance nightmare, and so unfun to play against that shes basically permabanned to the point that akali mains just want her reverted so they can actually play her. Even after the nerfs, shes still strong af and is capable of solo carrying.

Finally we have good old irelia, who was reworked form a statcheck champion to one with a more modern feel that fully represents her lore. No biggie right? How wrong we were. The king of balancing nightmares, she was tanky, she has dashes that healed her, damage reduction , stun, and an aoe slow that could disarm (no longer disarms). This was a nightmare bot to play against and it felt scummy to play as.

anyways, what do you think of the new kayle rework, how much of a balance nightmare will she be? \

How can we talk about a kit we have literally seen nothing of outside of a staged video?

But enough about that, have you seen her appearance? It's TERRIBLE.

Well TBH current Kayle is unstoppable late game.

So if they make Kayle have similar late game power with a stronger early game I can see this being an issue.

But it doesnt look that Kayle can share her R (not confirmed) and it doesnt look like she can AA during her R (which was her window of being an absolute monster)

So if anything she can (prob) be weaker late game (which is currently busted) and will be much stronger early but hopefully not too strong.

Nah I think theyve learned from their last fun but overloaded kits. Im more afraid that the next new champs and reworks will be too weak/niche/underloaded. You kinda already see that with Sylas tbh

For what it's worth: Her ult no longer looks like an Invulnerable. If any part of her kit is, it's probably got to do with her passive, or a main skill, which means it will be LOCAL (Self cast). That's really the only thing about old Kayle which made it annoying/broken; fast Guinsoo's damage with no opportunity to kill her back.

So, I really enjoyed playing Kayle previously....and now I'm worried. I thought she was really balanced, then Riot over here is just like. She's clearly broken! somehow. I really don't like her new look, and I'm sincerely worried that this is gonna put a giant wrench into my playstyle. I'm just worried that it's not the same Kayle I know.
