Can't get out of Bronze

I understand that ranked is harder and everything, and that it is a challenge to advance, but im in BRONZE 4 and i only get around 10-13 LP per win. Every time i lose a match i lose 18-25 LP. Someone explain how the f**k I am supposed to get out of bronze when half the time my teammates are inexperienced or afk! Is the LP gain/loss normal for everyone else (in bronze, it seems fair in silver/gold because those are more skill based I assume). Every board comment just says you probably suck just get better, and I have my k/d ratio is always at least 1/1 in auto fill and if I jg it's about 3-4/1. When I lane I do all the last hitting and all the advice but I don't know what else to do.

Make sure the side lanes are pushing out before the inevitable ARAM commences. I've been there (well, B3, close enough right?) and that was my key. Let the minions do the work for you. They won't even notice until it's too late :)

If you are losing more per loss than you are for a win, the system thinks your MMR is too high. You need to keep winning to turn it around.

Statistically speaking, you are just as inexperienced as they are so try to be a little more understanding.

I thought you gain more and lose less if your mmr is high and you lose more and gain less if your mmr is low

That means that your internal Match Making Rank (MMR) is lower than the visible rank you have. To fix it, you have to stabilize and win 50% of your games for a while until you prove to the system you don't belong where it thinks you do currently.

This exactly, I was in this boat earlier in the season, the tail end of s6 was when i started and i jumped headfirst into ranked, tanking my MMR, at the start of S7 i was still pretty bad and lost a lot of games, I was dealing w/ the same low LP gain on wins and high LP loss on losses but eventually found champs i liked (1 tricked Jax for a while) who have objective taking power and now I'm above a 50% ranked winrate and my LP gains/losses have evened out.

Practice practice practice, and remember objectives are more important than kills, and not dying is also more important than kills.

Not true. Winning 50% of your games while your MMR is lower than your rank will not raise your rank. You need to have a TOTAL 50% win/lose rate to get your lp gain back to around 20. I hit a few bad streaks and got -30 behind (about 46-47 % win rate) and when I am in b4 my win lp is around 12 to 13 for that percentage. When I drop to b5, I gain about 18-20 again per win. Now that I am 48% wins/losses (total) I am up to about 14 lp per gain and around 22-23 per loss. You need to get back to TOTAL 50% to get an even exchange of win/loss lp.

I wasn't clear enough or you didn't understand. Once the person starts winning 50% of their games, MMR will stabilize to match the rank that is visible. This is almost always at 50% overall, but in niche cases I've seen it happen even at a negative overall winrate (But that was with my friend who had thousands of games that season).

In your case, it means that B5 is too low, but B4 is too high. Ideally, you would be inbetween but because of the promo system you're stuck in a weird limbo until you achieve the MMR to be solidly B4.

if you wanna get out of bronze you gotta win games and to win games you should try hitting the nexus.

LP loss and gain should be the same, on average. They scale based on the MMR difference between teams, basically what this means is your teams are loosing to much lower mmr players. Considering what a clownfest bronze is, this does not always mean they are less skilled players.

I suggest just not playing ranked until you are a lot more experienced with the game.

In bronze you must be able 1v5 to win consistently. If you treat your team like super minions then you will climb out. Never trust them and sure as hell don't try to save them. Play like the most selfish player in the world. Take all the cs, take all the kills and get all the gold. Play assassins/champs that snowball like crazy and have aoe/1v5 potential. Also in that elo having good mechanics is enough to get fed so work on seeing kill opportunities in lane. In bronze and even silver its basically a race to who can get more fed quicker. If you haven't killed your laner at least twice and roamed to another lane before 10 min then you can't blame anybody else then yourself. I recommend mid to climb the fastest and top the second best lane. I don't recommend jungle since you don't have an enemy that you can just repeatedly kill.

All of these champs can work but in reality, any champ(other than support champions) can get you out of bronze if you OTP them. The trick is playing them over and over.

The reason I chose these champ are because they are straight forward. You kill, thats all. This guy is Bronze 4, he probably has terrible mechanics. He should focus on playing easy to play champs that can carry a game pretty easily and his mechanics will slowly get better and his game knowledge will increase a bunch since he isn't focusing on playing his champ and he is focusing on playing the game.

Edit: All those champs are roll face champs. Dive into the enemy team and smash you abilities and you will kill 1-3 people if you are fed.

You need to win a lot or make a new account to fix your LP.

In bronze, I was +24LPwin, -14 LP loss. At my worst loss streak +21LPwin, -16LP loss. So I was able to climb. Now in Silver, I am +27LPwin. This is RIot's (bad) system to say you are winning a lot, so we will help you climb to the next rank. In your case, you have lost a lot so they are forcing you into the lower rank. The only way to fix this is to win a lot a lot or to make a new account.

Play a splitpush top or jg. It is how I got B5- to B2. Nasus, Udyr, Yi, Jax. Nasus is safe because he is a tank, but you got to commit to the farm. Udyr is pretty fun and can help the team. But if the team sucks you can just go out on turrets and run away. Same thing for Yi. I never played Jax but his kit is designed to destroy turrets.

It is possible. When I was Bronze4, on Nasus I would just walk up to Inhib and Q it down. I hate to say bronze is bad but a Cassiopea jept trying to duel me and just died. If they sent 3-4 men at me I would die, but I could stall long enough to hope my team does something. Nasus is slower than a Yi or Udyr though.

Tried nasus split push. Team typically cries that you are not team fighting, or they feed while you are stacking. This may work at ranks where people understand split push and how your absence affects their fighting strategy, but most lower bronze don't care. They want to fight all the time and you not participating earns you flaming and reports.

It won't be a 100% WR, but I got from B4 to B2.

  1. Play hyper carry champions: burst mages and assassins or tanks. I don't recommend jungle, support, and bot because they are "team reliant." If you play jungle, you have to hope your lanes don't all feed. ADC's depend on their supports and vice versa. A mistake made by the ADC or support is usually a lost bot lane.

  2. Decide who you want to main or be an OTP altogether. Your match history has told me you like to try a lot of different champions. While it's ok in normals, it isn't in ranked.

  3. Work on your cs. 100 cs in 20 minutes will not get you out of bronze. 150 in 20 minutes is usually my goal but it's definitely something I have to work hard on.

Before you wonder why I'm still bronze 3, it's because I've decided to stop doing ranked this season. Normals games are more fun and allow's for more practice. Ranked is spamming the same champion over and over again.

I can also play a game with you(tomorrow) if you want just to see what you're doing wrong :P. Not to brag, but I have been coached by gold players before.

P.S don't look at my last 5 Vladimir games, I DC'd on those occasions because I had to do something urgent.

If you want to get out of bronze you have to play selfish. Take all of the kills all of the farm and push. Most importantly farm wins the game. Take your lane farm and all of the jungle farm. https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=mcbubblechunk if you look at my match history in most of my games i have the most farm and highest lvl.
