Solution for balancing Conqueror and Tank matchups
Conqueror is supposed to be an option for bruisers to fight/win tank matchups. The problem is definitely that in non-tank matchups, this rune can get too poverful, and this is why its getting nerfed to a state where its balanced vs squishy laners, but weak vs tanks. Now it has come to a point where it just makes some champs (champs which werent supposed to use it because had better options
) into an annoying unkillable healcreep that just ignores your defense stats.
There is one overly simple solution:
Bring back Giant Slayer, adjust its effect and make it a Keystone instead of Conq. Voila. Its finally a Keystone thats not an obvious best option in every matchup for some champs. It also would be a Keystone thats only worth picking up Versus tanks. It should be a Keystone with a simple mechanic, because Conqueror is just so complicated and overtuned compared to other simple ones like Fleet, Electrocute or Comet/Aery (which by the way are one of the best ones) A Keystone that doesnt become more significant than item builds or the champ itself, but a minor effect that adds something to the designated roles and completes them.
