Get rid of FF (or at least make it 30 mins)

Three times tonight my team was even / barely losing and we had plenty of chances to come back but instead they just quit. like i did not even get a vote all four of them FF. we did not even lose an inhibitor yet and were only down by 4-5 kills but people get this mentality that its over way too soon and just give up. Im sick of waiting 20 mins to get a game going then just having my team rage quit 15 mins in. i get that its not as fun to play from behind but its not over just cause you died 2 times. sit back farm a little and wait for the guy to get cocky and blow him up. people give up way too easy and even if your good you cant carry when they just ff at 20 just because they are a little behind. IDK what you guys think but its starting to bug me especially after how much time it takes to get a game going.

Actually if I were in charge, I'd make it so players can surrender at any point but require 5 votes.

It would go down to 4 votes at 20 minutes.

While we can see where your frustration came from, ppl have the freedom to be selfish and ignorant. Plus (just my opinion) riot is taking into consideration the fact that there are lots, lots of trolls out there who have 0 intention to play and are just here to harass their teammates, and letting poor players suffer for 30 minutes before they can throw the towel is too painful.

In the situation where surrender doesn't exist, and ideally no troll present in that particular match (extremely unlikely), there's still abuse potential of dominant team refusing to close the game and torturing their opponents as they please. If their opponents stay at fountain then dominant team members who can no longer find fun torturing their victims would just report them for going afk at base after the game. If you argue that not closing the game may allow the losing side to turn the tables around, then you might have a different opinion if you see a team comp of Nasus faming over 2k stacks, veigar skyrocketing his ap beyond 3k, sion clearing jungle camps and already approaching 7k hp, kindred doing 50% extra physical damage, and a thresh walking around collecting over 1k souls.
