Dark seal, where the hell is the risk?

are you out of your god damn mind, riot? you made a mini mejai's that has NO risk in it, and then it builds into mejai's. that item was supposed to be about risk vs reward, not "im going to start snowballing at 3 minutes in the game, try and stop me mother fuckers"

-the item is cheaper than doran's ring -gives the same base AP as doran's ring -makes your potions 25% more effective -and then BUILDS into something.

why would you EVER buy doran's ring with this busted piece of garbage sitting in the shop? its not like the 60 max health is going to do anything for you, considering the three potions you buy after buying the ring gives you about 105 extra health from potions.

you'd think with something called "the dark seal" there would be some god damn risk involved. what the fuck riot.

It has no health or mana regen and while the flat mana is nice early, it doesn't scale at all unlike Doran's. Seal can build into Mejai's but that only matters if you're snowballing and if you're not Doran's is significantly better.

ah, you are right. it is 100 mana. i thought it was mana regen.

and the 25% bonus health from potions is far better than 60 max health from dorans. dorans is outclassed in every aspect besides mana regen, and then dorans doesn't build into anything.

If you don't snowball it becomes a kinda useless item that builds into nothing useful.

except it only costs 350, which is cheaper than dorans ring in the first place and thats something you sell no matter what. its either you snowball out of control at 10 minutes, or you sell the item that makes your potions better for something else.

even in the worst case scenario, you are technically making your money back through the 25% more effective potions.

OK its not terrible, but if you can't stack it, it still puts you behind on the items you actually need. The potions aspect is ok buy I don't feel like it makes it worth the loss in item path down the road if you have to sell.

if you dont snowball, its exactly the same as a dorans ring. it helps you sustain early until you sell it off for something more useful. if you do snowball, buy that mejais for an easy W.
