NEW REDEMPTION IS NUTS, AND HERE IS THE MATH

okay so on janna specifically, its nuts. soraka probably cray too. heres my maths [used practice tool to confirm]

so you got your redemption, and nothing else. its like 10 + (20 x level), which @ lv 18 is 370. at level 18 with -windpseakers, ardent, redemption, mikaels crucibal youll heal everyone in an aoe for 999 damage-

a 5 second CD shield that will block 240 base + 70% ap (runes + ardent) X 50% which is a 360 shield (not counting any ap) at max build. it also gives around 50 AD for the duration with your ardent.

her ult will heal over 300 over time AOE at max build.

and the best part, since you have 50% bonus healing and shielding. locket isnt even bad last item. yeah, sure. they nerfed the combo. but janna doesnt care. janna builds 50% + healing and shielding. last item that locket and its shielding alot.

i didnt have anyone in the practice tool with me. so i got turret aggro and let it stack up, then used locket. got hit twice b4 the shield dropped and blocked over 500 damage.

thanks riot, i love the new redemption.!

I'd personally go for the new Grail because of how much mana regen you get, it ends up granting a TON of AP.

You point out that the items stack additively, but did the math for multiplicative stacking.

I wouldn't be too happy if I were you. There were a few people already commenting on the Redemption change while it was on the PBE and they've done the math too. People already know that this item is broken. Riot needs to do the right thing and nerf it again because they broke it....again.

NA math XD

let me do it for you

%healing passive stack ADDITIONALLY according to wiki so it's 10%+10%+10%+20%=40%

then you do x3 to get 120%

this makes the healing going to 370*2.3= 851 which is inferior to what it was before with +40% healing and 600 base healing

edit: alright it's 900 healing, and old redemption healed for 600+50%=900

All we needed was to make the most broken support item even more broken.
