Surrendering in League of Legends

In League of Legends, to successfully surrender, there must be a 4/1 vote in favor of surrendering. Honestly, this is BS and a massive waste of time. A 3/2 vote should still be a successful surrender, and let me tell you why.

Last game, I ended up feeding pretty hard, I will admit. I attribute this mostly to being camped by the enemy jungler, Ashe arrows stunning me from across the map, and no help from my own jungler, who said he would gank. After a short while, the game was 10/20 (I was only four of our deaths; my team wasn't playing well at all), and I expressed my desire to surrender. I put up a surrender vote as soon as I possibly could. We had three votes for yes. Then our jungler comes along with that disgusting "No, we can win. We can definitely do this." I try telling our ADC to say yes, but she decides to screw with me and says no, failing the surrender.

After a little while long the score was something like 13/32. We ended up putting up another surrender vote. Still, our jungler says "No! We can do this!" I react very negatively to people with that blindly optimistic mentality, so I told him off repeatedly for the remainder of the game for being an idiot. He said I was being negative, to which I responded, "No, I'm being a realist. And you're an idiot for thinking we can win."

Again and again we try to surrender, and again and again our jungler says no, with our ADC following suit just to piss me off. We ended up wasting an extra 10 and a half minutes on a game I knew was lost as soon as it hit the 20 minute mark, and at the end of the game, the score was 19/46. Only reason the game lasted that long to begin with is because some people think you can win, even when it takes almost your whole team to kill the enemy's strongest player, and 2-3 players to kill their weakest. Moral of the story?

A 3/2 vote should still be a surrender. Hours upon hours of my game time in league is from teammates who decided to either troll and say no, or who have that blindly optimistic mentality that says you can win when you're 12/48. Worst part is, I can't report them for anything because "Refused to Surrender/Wasted my time" isn't a valid point. Fix the system, Riot. It's getting old.

You could have troll duo smurfs messing people up in ranked, allowing 3/2.

Too many games won off a 3/2 surrender fail. People in low elo don't understand scaling, teamfighting and rotations, so obviously they think that whoever has the most kills wins the game.

Because eventually no matter what happens in league each player can hit a cap where they cannot improve their build anymore. If the enemy team doesnt seal the game up then both teams can still hit full builds and then kill counts become meaningless. Ive been in game where we are down 10 kills and still pull off the win so its not like its impossible. It happens all the time. One good team play can make a world of difference, especially late game when respawns take so long. Im not saying stall out every game but just that comebacks do happen all the time. If there is an afk or disconnect i think th surrender thing should definatley be adjusted. But in a legit game when you accept that match you are accepting to play that match until its conclusion be it 10 minutes or 10 hours.
