Why are so many people complaining about nerfs to the mid lane?
As someone who loves to play fighters/bruisers i don't see the problem. I'm able to play every lane to a reasonable point but it seems to me that mid laners have been that big deciding factor for awhile now and Riot is finally changing that. Mid Lanes have been able to delete every other role ever since I've started playing this game and I came into it thinking that's how it was supposed to be but apparently Riot thinks that is flawed to a limit.
From what i can tell Riot wants mid lane to be the high skill lane. A lane devoid of a babysitter, spending the first 10 minutes on an island or as the crocodile hunter. (Res In Peace) Instead of just looking at someone and watching them die they want to take away alot of raw power that mid laners typically have into tactical power. Being able to outsmart your foe rather than just face rolling and bragging about skill.
They're trying to make Kat more mobile, Zed less split pushy, they've already taken away all low skill silences from the mid lane and now DFG. They're trying to force more skill based combat rather then falt our bursting someone as they try to attack you.
Is adding more skill based combat such a problem? Am I looking at this from the wrong angle? Or am I just wrong and Riot shouldn't "nerf" mid laners because they NEED to be the miniature Death Stars they've been for awhile.
This last question could just be nothing but I saw it in another post but, does Riot want a different kind of type of champion in the mid lane?
