At the moment games are decided at level 3 because of how snowbally the game is.

Play smart. You know what the enemy's combo/ideal trade is... so don't give it to them if at all possible.

Ward whenever possible and don't overextend yourself just to get a few cs or an extra turret plate.

Learn your champ(s) inside and out. Know exactly what YOU are capable of. How much damage can you take? How do you take trades vs champ A and champ B? How much damage can you do to them? What does your ideal trade vs them look like? What item(s) do you need before you can win in that scenario? Do you win early or do you need # items before you can beat them and what are those items? Do you need extended trades to let your dps win out over their tankiness or burst? Or are you the burst reliant champ trying to avoid an extended fight?

Play defensive... soaking xp for a full wave and getting 3cs without dying again is more beneficial than getting 7 cs but dying for it.

Ask for help if your lane can be salvaged, but it might be better for your jungler to look elsewhere and snowball one of your teammates. Knowing when to help a losing lane vs when to leave it alone can be hard and I'd argue there's 2 points at which helping them can be beneficial: the first is when lane can be salvaged and that player can actually maybe even start winning lane if given a bit of assistance, the second is when not helping that lane will result in an uncontrollable snowball which nobody on your team will be able to deal with if you don't fix the problem now. One person may have started the problem... but now it's everyone's problem and will only get worse if you don't address it by helping them out.

Play with the mentality/attitude people have to use vs pantheon top: don't feed pantheon don't feed pantheon early play defensive, just survive just survive itemize defensively, just get xp and what cs you can warn team to play safe... I can't follow every time he roams team plays safe cuz it's a pantheon and nobody wants a fed enemy pantheon and now I have items and pantheon hasn't snowballed so I'm stronger than him... time to wreck some people

Don't play like you have to carry every game or win every laning phase. Spoiler alert... you don't have to. Just because your team is behind after laning is over doesn't mean you've auto-lost the game. Use macro... abuse the other team's advantages and overconfidence. Play smarter than them. Make picks. If you are losing but you are playing smart... you ENABLE your team to carry you. And who knows, maybe you'll get fed off some teamfight and start being able to carry too. But you need to give your TEAM a CHANCE. Too many players today just decide they might as well turn off their brain and not try because omg they aren't winning lane so gg we lost.
