Where's the new Champ Select?

they said they will turn it on "later during patch 6.1". this can mean 2 things. we either get it next week on the 20ths cuz they fucked something else up as usual or we will get it later today as promised.

knowing how stupid riot can be im guessing we will get it next wed.

I am sad. I don't even really want to play until the new champ select is back :(

"New champ select is coming to Normal and Ranked Draft queues."

"The new champ select experience will be enabled for Normal and Ranked Draft across the world later this patch! We're starting with tests in NA and TR on January 14. If everything goes well, we'll continue to roll out new champ select in other territories over the following days."

My guess is sometime later today it will be release because they did assure us it will be out on the 14th with the new patch. WITH THAT SAID....I still feel like there is a very high chance it could take a day or two but I truly don't believe they will launch it after ranked start because that would fuck with so many peoples' games if they did that and there were a shit ton of bugs.

The new Champ Select was actually out this morning for a few hours. I loved it and thought it was great. I played two games using it. I'm not sure what the bugs were unless it is the random kick. It took about 6 minutes to finally get into a game as it stated that players kept leaving but we would be queed with the same team. I'm hoping that they can figure it out and have it fixed soon but knowing them it won't be out for a while :/[zombie-brand-mindblown]

Did you download the new patch yet? If so, idk, Pappy Rito delays releases sometimes due to bugs and shit.

Stop dodging, you don't need to dodge to check. You choose roles similar to team builder before you queue. If you're in Q it's not out yet. PS entitely brats, just wait patiently.

It's out now! I don't know if it's just me, but prepare for long queues. I selected support as my primary role, and fill as my secondary, and I'm coming up to a 30 minute wait time ...

edit: went up to 45 minutes and still nothing, no longer have time for a game. Hope you all have better luck then I did with queue times. Really wanted to try this out. :(

Big Concern here. I can not select chroma skins in the new champ select screen.
