Many champions that are being buffed for the worlds patch already have an EXTREMELY HIGH WIN RATE, like riven.

Others aren't OP but more of a counter pick or a multiple lane champions are getting NERFED because Riot doesn't like multiple lane champions for some reason and really wants to nerf them into oblivion.

Example. Karma and Sylas aren't at all OP and don't have an outstanding win rate at all. Riot has been trying to murder sylas jungle for a while now for what reason? Karma is known for her Aggressive nature and her fair CC and is very flexible to sup, top , mid , and even sometimes BOT. But Riot is like hEy Lets get rid of karmas only source of damage so we can kick her out of every role because she now has no damage and make her not an aggressive support anymore because mUlTiiple rOleS aRe bAD. So these champions are gutted from their role hmmm I think Fiora needs another buff, Oh riven has a 54% winrate but isn't played in pro play

oh yeah since people always point to rivens master's stats

Sylas has double her pick rate, more than triple her ban rate and about the same win rate (all according to lolalytics) while also being a monster in organized play unlike Riven

? But hes just flexible I guess

you are so wrong it hurts, Sylas has been god tier in multiple roles since release and Riot refuses to accept that hes just a shitty design

the win rate obsession on this forum is ridiculous, look past 1 stat for once

I'm not disagreeing with you that Riven doesn't need a buff, but she certainly doesn't have an EXTREMELY HIGH WIN RATE. Where are you seeing a 54% win rate on her? On League of Graphs, looking at the combined stats for all regions she only even has a win rate above 50% in Masters and above, and even then it's just 51.5%, not 54%. In Diamond and below it's all sub 50%.

But yeah seriously lets keep it that way, sometimes that champ really bugs me.

Flex picks are just boring blind pickable champs, but honestly Aatrox didn't need to get nerfed again cause the players that did blind picked him weren't doing much at all in the first place in the last patch pros played.

If anything the wave clear nerf was enough just to keep him out of mid lane.

LMFAO Sylas isn't OP.... are you kidding me? That champion needs to be removed from the game. They can nerf him all they want, he is a cancer design. He has the same problem as every new champion and new rework, they need to be nerfed into complete uselessness or they are overwhelmingly overpowered at everything they do. Winrate isn't the only stat to define a champions strengths or weaknesses, the only time it is important is when it is absurdly high/low.

Atleast I can make out what sylas does, with riven it's so much animation cancelling you don't even know what the actual hell happens or what abilities are being used and with riot's whole ''clarity is very important for us'' shtick you'd think they do something about it but no, they don't so you're left wonder ''gee is this a normal riven where it takes her some seconds to unload her entire kit or is this a animation cancelling riven who unloads her entire kit on me in half a second nukes me into oblivion and leaving me wondering what the fuck happened?'' never know with Riven.
